Christmas Series: Desert Tables

My favorite part of hosting a chic party has to be the desert table. It’s fun, usually the center of attention + can be themed to match whatever occasion you’re wanting to create. In our case, we are celebrating Christmas (YAY) so I’ve shared some desert table inspiration in preparation for this holiday season.

Healthful Options for Clean Eating

I’ve had a lot of you asking me about my diet (I hate that term, I prefer to think of it as nourishing my body with what it truly needs) and healthy alternatives that I like to indulge in. I say indulge because I truly enjoy eating healthy. On the other hand, I also have a sweet tooth + I find a good balance by trying to eat healthy 80% of the time + allow myself little ‘treats’ 20% of the time.

Like I’ve mentioned before, once you can allow yourself to find balance + to look at food as fuel instead of only what you ‘can’t’ have, it makes the process that much more enjoyable + easy to stick to. We’re going for long-term health here, I’m not one who believes in fads or crazy diets. I’ve shared some healthy alternatives below to hopefully inspire you to make small changes everyday!

Healthful Alternatives + Recipes

Quinoa + Kale Patties

Crispy Chicken Parmesan

Crispy Brussel Sprouts w/ Garlic Aioli

Almond + Flaxseed Granola

Shrimp Tacos w/ Cilantro Lime Sauce

Champagne Cocktails + Cotton Candy

The sheer thought of the weekend sends excitement through my veins! With the weekend only hours away, it’s time to start thinking about entertaining! To inspire your girls-night, I’ve included this adorable guide to champagne cocktails!! This weekend calls for sun, sun, sun so grab a few of your best girlies + have them over for champagne cocktails + chic cotton candy for a night not to be missed!

Fashionable Foodie {Comfort Food}

I loove this modern take on the classic rainy-day staple: Tomato Soup + Grilled Cheese Sandwhich. There’s really nothing better on a gloomy rainy day than this! But just because we’re dealing with food, doesn’t mean that we can’t still be chic. As I’m sure you already know by now, I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I like everything I create to have a very carefully crafted look to it! These are some great examples of how we can {without too much time + effort} take something as simple as a grilled cheese + soup + turn it into something spectacular! Enjoy!
