After a bit of a hiatus, I’m back – my holiday was the perfect balance of warm sunny days + quiet tranquil evenings. We spent our precious days away hiking, boating, crabbing, bike riding, having seafood feasts (all of which we collected ourselves; Clams, Mussels, Crab, Oysters) + visited the local farmer market on the island. The 1 day it did rain – it poured. And I can’t say I minded at all! The day was spent being cozy, watching movies + listening to the rain on the tin roof.
Coming home however, was not so heavenly. It seems taking 10 days to relax + recoup really set me way back in work + studies, and my days of catch-up are just now winding down.
